UK, Richmond Upon Thames – 29th May 2012. The Gloriana, a 94-foot barge, decorated with gold leaf and ornate carvings was privately commissioned as a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II for her 2012 Diamond Jubilee and will be the lead vessel in the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant. The barge will lead a 1,000-strong flotilla of boats and will be powered by 18 rowers. Lord Sterling is behind the project which created the barge in honour of the monarch.
