A 7 shot panorama of the gloam just after sunset with the dense and varied Tykkylumi forest of the spruce trees. Over the winter the spruce trees become covered in frost which in turn bind the falling snow creating the caked and hanging sights that continue to fascinate and awe all those with the privilege of viewing them. The blue tint to the scene is the fabled 'Blue Moment' . The sky hangs with spectacular auras of colour with the fading light presenting a warm glow to the right of the image. The temperature was around -25C and it was extremely difficult scaling the mountain as the paths were unusable. But well worth the effort once at the top. Descent a little faster as we slide on our bums.
