Proboscis small, aborted ; palpi porrect, very short, not reaching as far as the frontal proiiiiueiiceand moderately fringed with hair below; with long bifid plate at middle excised in front and with long triangular plate below it; eyes large, round ; antennffi of male minutely ciliated ; thorax clothed almost entirely with scales, the nietathorax with decumbent crest; the patagia slightly turned np at extremity; tibia; moderately fringed with hair ; abdomen without crests, i-'ore wing with the apex rounded, the termen obliquely curved and not crenulate ; veins 3 and 5 from ne ir angle of cell; 6 from upper angle; U from lU anastomosing with 8 to form the areole ; 11 from cell.
