'i'ho debris according to Jolly was composed of rem- nants of nuclei, erythrocytes and blood pigment all of which were " transfonned into globular masses taking an aeidophile ; Rarely ])olykaryocytes of the above type were also seen. These were extremely large and the protoplasm not infrequently contained what seemed to be remnants of nuclei.
