Home to Group Support Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Browning Armory has undergone a yearlong, $ remodeling project, which includes the following improvements: • New paint, carpet, floor and ceiling tile and landscaping • New electrical wiring • Heating and cooling system upgrades • Lighting and energy-efficient improvements that will reduce electricity costs by 20 percent • New interior doors • Communication and data-system infrastructure • Parachute-packing facility addition • Expanded maintenance bay and motor-pool space • Complete kitchen renovation • New shower stalls • Added unisex restroom to meet ADA requirements • Office space, conference rooms remodeled
