PACIFIC OCEAN (May 25, 2021) Sailors guide a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, (HMMWV), attached to Combat Logistic Battalion (CLB) 11, on to a Landing Craft, Air Cushion (LCAC), attached to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 5, in the well deck of amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2), May 25. Sailors and Marines of the Essex Amphibious Ready Group (ARG) and the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) are underway conducting integrated training off the coast of southern California.
