Keep the plants in a cool, partial shade during summer. Cover the ground with tobacco dust or stems to keep off insects. Shift into larger pots as needed and keep regularly watered. If they become root-bound or are not jucficiously watered the plants are not likely to do well. The seeds I offer were raised for me by a celebrated grower of these flowers in Germany. They will produce compact, vigorous plants and immense flowers of the choicest colors. If you want something choice for your window get seeds of Park's Large-flowered Cinerarias.
