The retail growers' committee presented a resolution as follows: Whereas, the oiistom of allowing a commis slon of more than tvrenty per cent to iiiidcr takern aii'l agents is more or less Renenil In the St. Louis district of the Niitional Klower Growers' Association, be it Resolved by this ornunizMtion in convention assembled that the allowinK of more tliiin twenty per cent commission to nndertakers and agents is unethical and does not promote the best in terests of the florists' business throngliout this district, and be it further Resolved, tliat this organization go on record as opposed to the allowance of more than a twenty per cent commission to undertakers and agents and endeavor, so far as possible, to have twenty per cent established as the maximum commission to be allowed. This resolution was discussed and a motion prevailed that the resolution as presented by the committee be adopted. The cut flower committee's report came next, at the end of which a discus- sion arose as to measuring the length of stem on roses and whether or not the measurement should include the Worcester's Shop of Quality and Service Randall's Flower Shop 22 PEARL STREET WORCESTER, MASS.
