Marine sampling on the Tatamagouche Bay, Nova Scotia

Sampling of the sea life around the Tatamagouche Bay and other areas along the north shore takes place every summer. The netting operation records the number and variety of marine life found in these waters and enables biologists to monitor the spread of invasive species. The monitoring work is carried out by marine research students and local volunteers.
