Dubrovnik is a Croatian city on the Adriatic Sea, in the region of Dalmatia. It is one of the most visited tourist destinations in the Adriatic. Since 1979 Dubrovnik has been on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. The old name of the town is Ragusa. Old town of Dubrovnik is protected by walls and towers, lenght almost 2 km. Dubrovnik have also been a popular filming site for the fictional city of King's Landing in the HBO television series, Game of Thrones. PREVENTION OF PANDEMIC IN RAGUSA: Across the Adriatic Sea in Ragusa ( Dubrovnik), the city’s Great Council passed a ground-breaking law in 1377 to prevent the spread of the pandemic requiring all incoming ships and trade caravans arriving from infected areas to submit to 30 days of isolation
