Matthew Caldwell, an ophthalmologist with the Health Engagements Assistance Response Team (HEART) 2022, inspects a patient’s eye in preparation for an upcoming, scheduled surgery July 16, 2022 at Hospital San Felipe in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. HEART 22 is a Southern Command operation that evolved out of the longstanding effort to improve regional prosperity.
