ROSE LAWN* POULTRY FARM MARLBORO, MASS. ARTHUR G. DUSTON. PROPRIETOR We are happy to have among our patrons,Mr. Arthur G. Duston, Marlboro, Mass. is one of the most successful breeders inthe country. After trying nearly all the leadingbreeds he has finally pinned his faith to the WhiteWyandottes, and the strain he breeds has beenworthy of his selection. Questioned as to howhe started in the business, he writes us as fol-lows : Some years ago (in 1892) I came in posses-sion of my home just outside of the city of Marl-boro. On the farm I had a small hen house ofabout 6 feet square. I never had done any farmwork; never owned or cared anything about took the house, moved it, and fixed the a friend I bought six hens and an old cockbird—a mixed lot of what purported to be BarredPlymouth Rocks. These I tended during thewinter ; got hold of a few poultry papers ; at-tended a show at Worcester, and came down withas severe an attack of hen fever as any oneever had.
