It blooms with the Darwins and grows as large as the Giant Breeders, but is really derived from the Cottage or May-flowering class, and to that class it owes its unusually beauti- ful coloring. Opening a lovely shade of rosy amber, it deepens as the flower expands to a glowing orange in the center, shading out to yellow and cerise at the edges. The stems are strong and often 30 inches tall: the flowers 4 inches or more in diameter. Very rare. Bulbs SI .00 each, 3 for The Finest New Single Early Tulips DE WET, or Fireglow. 17-C.
