From Wikipedia, the Free Encyclopedia: Veere is a municipality and a city in the southwestern Netherlands, on Walcheren in the province of Zeeland. The town hall was built between 1474 and 1517, in a late Gothic style typical of the Flanders-Brabant region. The tower is of a later date (end 16th century).
