A beautiful variety with small foliage, assuming the most varied tinls of coloring in the autumn, and attractive scarlet berries, which remain on the plant the greater part of the winter; very desirable for grouping, particularly around the base of a porch or veranda to hide the foundation; succeeds in sun or shade and is the best hedge plant we know. 25 cts. each; $ per doz. Of erect, tall growth, with fine purple foliage; the young shoots are red, and in May it bears small yellow flowers, followed in fall by bright red fruit. 25 cts. each; $ per doz. — Wilsonae. An introduction from Western China, and a splendid, very dwarf, decorative Shrub, with small glossy green leaves and long spines; the foliage in the fall takes on the most beautiful autumnal red tints. 50 cts. each.
