Hischildren were Elijah, born April 12, 1729; Elisha,September 14, 1730; Samuel, July 29, 1732; Joseph,April 12, 1734; Lydia, April 14, 1739; Cornelius,August 21, 1740; Josiah, December 20, 1744; and Sa-rah, 1749. Of these children Josiah graduated at Harvard in1765, and was for some time a teacher in the Barn-stable Aciidemy. He married, October 6,1765, Debo-rah, daughter of Daniel Davis and sister of Danie
