In February, student representatives from more than 60 universities and middle schools in the city formed the Shanghai Student Aid Federation to carry out the student aid charity sale. This was a notice published by the Student Aid Federation in the Ta Kung Pao at that time, helping 4,000 students solve the problem of tuition fees. Ta Kung Pao is the oldest active Chinese language newspaper in China founded in 1902.
