The Cecilienhof Palace (Schloss Cecilienhof) was built between 1914 and 1917 for the Hohenzollern family that ruled Germany and Prussia until 1918. It is situated in the Neue Garten park. In 1945 the palace became the main location of famous Potsdam Conference where future of post-war world was debated between the leaders of the United Kingdom, the United States and the Soviet Union. The palace belongs to the group of buildings listed as the Palaces and Parks of Potsdam and Berlin in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
