A silver-mounted kinjal,Persian/Caucasus,middle of the 19th century Quadruple fullers on both sides of the double-edged blade. A double-stamped smith mark and gold-inlaid floral cartouches on the obverse side. Dark horn grip scales with silver rivets. The grip frame bears gold inlay with floral designs. Wooden scabbard covered with green shagreen leather. The two silver mountings are embossed on both sides with falcons and birds amid leaf work. Beautiful condition.
