KINGSVILLE, Texas (Nov. 2, 2018) Cmdr. Benjamin Mulinix, lower aircraft, turned over command of the "Redhawks" of Training Squadron (VT) 21 Squadron Augmentation Unit to Cmdr. Nathaniel Mauer during an aerial ceremony. Joined by friends, family, and fellow aviators on the ground below, the two conducted several fly-overs during which Mauer took the lead, signifying the change in command. VT-21 is an advanced jet training squadron in Kingsville under the command of the Chief of Naval Air Training.
