Ek Balam Mayan Ruins Archaeological Site Yucatan Mexico
Ek Balam was protected by a double rampart and five entrances that communicated with the outside by means of stone causeways. At the main entrance toward the south this arch with crossshaped vault provided access to the walled precinct.
