Sent from one magistrateto another, from pillar to post to avoid care and responsi-bilitv, their liberation was hastened to save expense to thecountry. Meantime, the men ashore who did not succeed ingetting on the ship fled to avoid a prison cell which wouldblock all future efforts to raise money to move on andgive to a dying world their saving faith.
