Frozen peas oblong, dark green; sieve sizes 3 to 7. Smaller sizes should not be frozen. Seed large, light green: 92 per oz. â BANQUETER 42 Belongs to the Gradus class but has a distinctive round pod. Has given particularly good results in quick freezing. Vine medium green, fairly stocky. Pods single, round, plump, pointed; contain 8-10 large, succulent peas; sieve sizes 3 to 7, largely 5 to 7. Seed large, green: 95 per oz. CANNER KING 34 A recent Asgrow development. A main crop canning variety resistant to Fusarium wilt. Vine similar to Perfection but with more open habit of growth; color medium green. Pods slightly curved, single and double, medium green, blunt, con- tain 7-9 peas; sieve sizes 2 to 7, largely 4 to 6. Seed green, of medium size: 100 per oz. CHARLES I 32 A main season canning variety following Perfection. Vine deep green, stocky, prolific. Pods single and double, pointed, curved, medium green; contain 7-9 peas of very good flavor. Canned peas semi-round, medium green; sieve sizes 1 to 6, largely 3 and 4. Seed wrinkled, medium green. About 80 per cent resistant to Fusarium wilt.
