SEA (Sept. 3, 2018) - Boatswain's Mate 3rd Class Tanya Riker signals to an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter, assigned to the "Vipers" of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 48, during flight operations aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Ross (DDG 71) in the Mediterranean Sea, Sept. 3, 2018. Ross, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its seventh patrol in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests Europe and Africa.
