Murder victim whose feet have been bound using an electrical cord. The photograph will be used as evidence. The method of binding, the knots and the materials used, can sometimes help identify serial killers. More generally, the body and cord can be examined for physical evidence to help catch the murderer. Traces of blood, hair and bodily fluids may have been left behind by the murderer. The cut end of the electrical cord may be linked to the tool used to cut it, and blood and bruising on the victim's legs can reveal if there was a struggle. The body can also be examined to help determine the time of death.
