Apsley House at Hyde Park Corner in Central London, known as No 1 London.

Apsley House was built by Robert Adam between 1771 and 1778 for Henry Bathurst, Lord Apsley. He sold it to the Marquess of Wellesley who sold it to the Duke of Wellington, his brother, in 1817. The house was given to the nation in 1947 although the family have the right to continue to occupy part of the property. It now contains a museum devoted to the first Duke. The property is known for its postal address of No. 1, London - it was the first house east of the former toll gate at Hyde Park.
