Uranus. Artwork of the gas giant planet Uranus, seen from the surface of its largest moon Titania. Titania is a rocky icy moon with a diameter of around 1500 kilometres. It orbits around 436, 000 kilometres from Uranus. Three of the other twenty moons of Uranus are seen as bright points of light that are aligned within the orbital plane marked by the faint ring system. From left to right they are: Ariel, Umbriel (both left of Uranus) and Miranda (right of Uranus). Uranus is the seventh planet out from the Sun, orbiting at a distance of around 2800 million kilometres. It has a diameter four times that of the Earth and mainly comprises hydrogen and helium gas.
