Norman from the coasts of Durham andN or th u m b e r Ian d. It has also been taken at Port Patrick and Dundrum,Ireland, by the late Mr. W. Thompson. Mr. W. found this species among trawl refuse of fishingboats, also in the stomach of fish at Falmouth. It iscommon among weeds all round the coasts of Europe. c c i^ 388 ISOPODA. NORMALIA. IDOTEID^. Long, narrow, with the sides of the segments nearlyparallel; lower antennos nearly as long as the animal ; joints of the pedunclevery robust; lAeon with the terminal joint truncated, and tridentate at theextremity, the lateral angles being more prominent than the central tooth.
