The pod is brass engraved with rhomboid figures and floral motifs. It has two fasteners in the girdles and lacks the contempra being the same broken in its final portion. (The sheath does not belong to this dagger) This type of dagger appears a lot in iconography of the time. Possibly it was a regulatory saber miniature, for the use of officers and guards, with a gala or walk uniform.
