PACIFIC OCEAN (April 4, 2017) – Flight deck personnel watch as an AH-1Z Viper Attack Helicopter, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 161, departs the flight deck of amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22) during Amphibious Squadron (PHIBRON) Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Integration (PMINT) Training Exercise. PMINT is a two week training evolution between the America Amphibious Ready Group and the 15th MEU, which trains Sailors and Marines to become a cohesive unit and further mission readiness in preparation for their upcoming deployment.
