During the late nineteenth century in the United States religious and cultural "revival" meetings were popular. Tis one, the Ocean Park Association, was formed in the late nineteenth century and continues to this day. In addition to religious meetings, other cultural, intellectual and artistic meetings and concerts are held on their property at the village of Ocean Park, south of Old Orchard Beach, Maine. This image shows the unusual "umbrella style" roof supports of unfinished wooden planks provides an uninterrupted view from anywhere in the hall.
