The North Pennine Staycation Express is a special tourist train operated by Rail Services Limited that runs three times a day in each direction between Skipton and Appleby on the famous Settle to Carlisle railway line. In this photograph it is seen soon after passing Ais Gill summit with service 134U, the 10:35 from Appleby to Skipton on Thursday 20th August 2020 with class 37 D6817 at the front and class 47, 47712, Lady Diana Spencer, at the rear with Wild Boar Fell in the background.
