The frame is of medium si^eand in good muscular condition. The subcutaneous fat is scant. Onthe right arm, the left forearm, the abdominal wall, and on both thighs STREPTOTHRIX INFECTION. 149 there are eight or ten sHghtly projecting, rounded, fluctuating, sub-cutaneous swelHngs from one-half inch to one inch in diameter. Theskin over most of these nodules is unaltered, but over the larger onesthere is a slight bluish discoloration. They are found to be collections.
