David "Batman" Wilkerson, representative for the Cherry Point Motorcycle Mentorship program, participated in joint training with the New Bern Police Department in a program called Bike Safe North Carolina in New Bern, North Carolina, April 16, 2021. Wilkerson said he believes it is important to take advantage of additional training because it help reduce the chances of a motor accident.
