John Whitley, the Acting Secretary of the Army, spoke with Fort Bliss command teams across the installation about Operation Ironclad, 1st Armored Division’s approach to eliminating sexual harassment, sexual assault, suicide, extremism, and racism on Fort Bliss at the Centennial Banquet and Conference Center, March 11, 2021. Whitley emphasized a key element called, ‘This is my Squad,’ in which these behaviors can be stopped at the lowest levels and how Soldiers can look out for each other.
