Gosport , Hampshire Tuesday 18th August 2015 The spectacular aerial show was organised to mark the time at which fighting was at its fiercest in the air campaign that changed the course of the Second World War if you could of seen it that it many are upset and feel cheated s they planes flew over Gosport and Portsmouth this afternoon to 5,000 people turned out to view the fly past that was nearly visible In what is believed to be the biggest memorial flight of its kind, 18 Spitfires and six Hurricanes scrambled from Biggin Hill Airport in Kent before splitting into three formations of eight aircraft.
