The town was one of the tirst to adopt the plan of supervision bysuperintendents, thus giving to the schools, in some degree, the advantages oflarger places. Good schools cannot be maintained without finances ; and Falmouth is liberal in her appropriations in this line. Teachers are well paid, and, in turn, are enthusiastic, and ever ready to avail themselves of all opportunities to better fit themselves for their work. Falmouth schools are good schools. A. O.
