Christchurch, New Zealand - 17 May 2012 This ship-like public sculpture - Reasons for Voyaging - is located outside Christchurch Art Gallery (Te Puna o Waiwhetu) in South Island, New Zealand. Damaged badly in the 2010 earthquake, it was abandoned for several years before re-opening in 2016. The colors are created by gradient mapping the image.
