Above olivaceous brown ; wings blackish, margined with rufous ; tail nearly uniform brown, hut centres of the webs darker : beneath cinereous, washed with brown on the breast and flanks; middle of belly lighter, whitish : under wing-coverts and inner margins of wing-feathers pale fulvous; bill—upper mandible black, lower whitish; feet pale brown : whole length 7 inches, wing 3-4, tail 3-3.
