The culinary department isin charge of experienced cooks, and all the delicacies of the season are to be foundon its tables, while every effort is made for the general comfort of its guests. was born and educated in New Hampshire and has been a resident ofWashington since 1866. He has been identified with the hotel business all his life,and is a model landlord. He has made an eminent success of his management ofthe St. James, which he has placed on a sure ARLINGTON MARKET, R. A. Cronin & Son, Proprs, corner 14th and S streets. The prosperity of a city depends muchon the encouragement given to the in-dustrial enterprises, and its importanceas a purchasing point is also increased bythis agency, resulting advantageously tothewhole community. Among the lead-ing commercial enterprises is that of Cronin & Son, located at the cornerof 14th and S streets. This business hasbeen established at this point but a shorttime, although the firm have been exten-sively engaged in this business about tenyears at the different markets. The storeoccupies premises 30 x 80 feet in dimen-sions and is well arranged for conductingthe business.
