Aerial view of the Moudang barns, between Saint-Lary-Soulan and the Spanish border, in the Moundang Valley, Upper Valley of Aure. Situated at an altitude of 1521 meters, they form one of the last villages of barns perfectly preserved in the Pyrenees mountains. The site of the Moudang Valley belongs to the network of nature protection areas called Natura 2000. In the foreground, herd of Tarasconnais sheep, ewes in summer pastures.
