MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Nov. 14, 2014) – Religious Programs Specialist 1st Class Darrell Howell, from Chesapeake, West Virginia, assists Boatswain’s Mate Seaman Velena Taylor, from Washington , study for her enlisted surface warfare pin aboard USS Cole (DDG 67). Cole, an Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer homeported in Norfolk, is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
