The Chain Bridge or Szechenyi lanchid in Budapest Hungary that carries traffic across the River Danube in the Baroque city of Designed by English Engineer William Tierney Clark was the first across the Danube and was opened to traffic in 1849 and was blown up by the Germans towards tte end of ww2 but soon rebuilt.
