Grand Canyon Cliff Springs (NR) . Approaching Cliff Springs. The Cliff Springs Trail is a mi. / km round-trip; 1 hour approximate round-trip hiking time. The trail meanders down a forested ravine and ends where a chest-high boulder rests under a large overhang. The spring is on the cliff side of the boulder. President Teddy Roosevelt camped here. Please do not drink the water as it may be contaminated.
