Large Tree Trunk Driftwood on Embleton Bay on St Oswalds Way Long Distance Footpath Northumberland Coast
St. Oswalds Way is a 97 mile long distance footpath exploring some of the finest landscapes and fascinating history of Northumberland. It follows the Northumberland Coast from the north at Holy Island to Warkworth where in heads inland to Heavenfield. Opened in 2006 the way commemorates the life of one the most important rulers of Northumbria and Britain in the 7th century. This section of the way goes along the coast from Seahouses to Craster.
