Golden light at the isolated island of Aghios Efstratios (Ai Stratis) in Northern Aegean, Greece. There are only 100-110 permanent inhabitants in the island. The boat connection is also an issue, there is a line that connects the island every morning with the island of Lemnos but there is an at least 10 hours trip by boat to get there from Athens or Piraeus. During the years 1949-1972 the island was widely known as an exile destination for political prisoners.
