Heilig-Geist-Sital (Holy Ghost hospital) on the River Pegnitz in Nuremberg, Bavaria, Germany. The former hospital and nursing home were presented to the city of Nuremberg by a wealthy local merchant, Konrad Grob in 1331. It served as a lodging house for the poor of the city. From 1424 to 1796, the Imperial crown jewels (Holy Roman Empire) were kept here. The building has now been converted into senior citizens' luxury apartments and a high-class restaurant after it was a student's hall of residence. The medieval building sits on the banks of the River Pegnitz.
