Indianapolis Motor Speedway poster. Early 20th-century poster advertising the Indianapolis Motor Speedway as the 'greatest race course in the world'. It was constructed in 1909 and can hold over 200,000 spectators. International flags are strung across the track. The architects are named at lower left: Carl G. Fisher, Frank H. Wheeler, Arthur C. Newby, and James A. Allison. This chromolithograph, dating from around 1909, is from the Otis Lithograph Company.
