Laffoon plays percussion as a member of the Naval Forces Europe Band, ‘Top Side’ Brass Band, aboard the 6th Fleet Blue ridge-class command and control shipduring routine operations. Mount Whitney is conducting naval operations in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of national security interests in Europe.
