Proboscis well developed ; palpi upturned, the 2nd joint reaching vertex of head, the 3rd well developed and obtuse ; antenna; of male bipectinate, with short branehes ; tibiie lung, the spurs moderate; abdomen long, the terminal segment with lateral and anal tufts. Fore «ing narrow towards base; veins 2 and 3 Irom a point near end of cell; 4, 5 from angle ; 6 from upper angle ; 7, 8,9,10 stalked ; 11 from cell; veins 2-7 of male tjjickly iriuged with long hair above. Hind wing narrow ; the discoeellulars angled ; veins 2 and 4 strongly stalked ; 3 absent; 5 from middle of discoeellulars; 6, 7 from upper angle. 561. Dixophlebia quadristrigata.
